What is CAC?

Chicago Audiomakers Collective is a group that exists to foster and grow the audio community in Chicago. We believe that Chicago is full of incredible talent and it's a city where things are undeniably happening. But, we as a community of artists, producers, and talent, aren't as connected as we should be. We want to fix that.

Events

CAC started as a monthly zoom meetup of audio hobbyists and pro's in the Chicago area. We still meet on the first Thursday of every month at 5pm CT via zoom. But, now we do so much more than that!

We also collect and share other audio events in the Chicago area. Join us and you'll get our bi-monthly newsletter with events, you'll get access to our events page, and get invited to a public calendar full of events!

Looking to work with a local company or professional for an audio project? Or maybe you're just looking to meet some new people in the city? Check out the Chicago Talent and Resource Directory!

Everyone is welcome to add themselves to the directory, or browse it and reach out to other people in the community. We want this to be a one-stop-shop for you to find new connections, and for anyone to find talent when staffing up their projects.
